The process begins in our Sunninghill clinic with the professional application of the Cosmelan® 1 mask. You wear this mask home and leave it on for 8–12 hours as directed. The second phase involves a strict home-care routine using Cosmelan® 2 cream, which is used for several months to maintain results and continually suppress melanin production.
Yes — Cosmelan® is an intensive treatment and there will be downtime. Expect redness, tightness, and significant peeling for the first 3–7 days following the mask.
