Non-Surgical Skin Tightening: Endymed Contour RF Firms Loose Skin

Lost weight, had a baby, or simply noticed your skin doesn't bounce back the way it used to? You're not alone — and you don't need surgery to fix it. Non-surgical skin tightening is one of the fastest-growing aesthetic treatments of 2026, and radiofrequency (RF) is the technology leading it. Here's how Endymed Contour RF works, who it's for, and what to expect at Young Again Aesthetics in Sunninghill.

Why skin gets loose in the first place

Skin firmness comes down to two proteins: collagen (structure) and elastin (snap-back). From our late 20s we lose roughly 1% of collagen every year, and rapid weight loss, pregnancy, sun exposure and genetics speed that up. The result is skin that's stretched but no longer has the scaffolding to hold tight — most noticeably on the tummy, arms, inner thighs, knees and jawline.

What Endymed Contour treats

  • Loose tummy skin after weight loss or pregnancy
  • Crepey inner thighs and "bingo wings" on the arms
  • Skin laxity above the knees
  • Cellulite texture and dimpling
  • Sagging jawline, neck and jowls (with the Endymed facial handpiece)

How Endymed Contour RF tightens skin

Endymed uses 3DEEP® multi-source radiofrequency — several RF electrodes working together to push controlled heat into the deeper layers of the skin, while the surface stays comfortable. That deep heating does two things:

  • Contracts existing collagen fibres for a visible tightening effect from the very first session
  • Triggers new collagen and elastin production, so results keep improving for up to 3 months after your course

Unlike older single-source RF devices, the 3DEEP system focuses energy in the dermis rather than scattering it across the skin surface — meaning more effective heating, no downtime and no risk to the outer skin.

Endymed vs. other skin tightening options

  • Endymed Contour RF — best for laxity and texture over larger body areas; comfortable, no downtime, cumulative results
  • CFU / HIFU — focused ultrasound that lifts deeper tissue; ideal for the face, neck and jawline, often combined with Endymed
  • Lysiwave — microwave energy that reduces fat and smooths cellulite at the same time; pair with Endymed when there's both fat and loose skin to address
  • Surgical lift — the only option for severe excess skin, but with anaesthetic, scarring and weeks of recovery

At Young Again we often combine Endymed with Cooltech Fat Freeze — the Fat Freeze removes the stubborn fat, the Endymed tightens the skin over it. That's our Sculpt Duo protocol, and it's one of the most requested body packages in the clinic.

FAQ Guide

Get quick answers to common questions

Find solutions, explore resources, and resolve issues faster

01 Does Endymed skin tightening hurt?

No. The treatment feels like a warm, deep-tissue massage. The 3DEEP technology heats the dermis while keeping the skin surface comfortable, so no numbing cream is needed.

02 How many sessions will I need?

Most clients see the best results from a course of 4-6 sessions, one to two weeks apart. Your therapist will confirm the plan at your consultation based on your skin and goals.

03 Is there any downtime?

None. You can return to work, gym and normal life straight after. Some clients see slight pinkness in the treated area for up to an hour.

04 How long do results last?

New collagen is your own tissue, so results are long-lasting. We recommend a maintenance session every 3-6 months to keep skin at its firmest as natural ageing continues.

05 Can I do Endymed after having a baby?

Yes - Endymed is one of the most popular post-pregnancy treatments for loose tummy skin. We recommend waiting until you have finished breastfeeding and have your doctor's clearance.

06 Is it safe for all skin types?

Yes. Radiofrequency doesn't target pigment, so it's safe and effective on all skin tones.
